Certified Addiction + Abuse Recovery Coach – CARC I + II

Transformation Coach

As a self-transformation enthusiast, I seek becoming the best, new version of me regularly. I do this in each moment by remaining present, which allows me to be a nurturing, protective ‘Mother’ to myself.

I am: a Spiritual Being having a Human Experience, a Mother, Women’s Advocate, Life Coach, Herbalist, Reiki Master, and CARC.

Growing up in poverty in an abusive family of alcoholics and codependents, I am versed in the many forms of coping strategies used to numb, and avoid having to feel unpleasant feelings. These unhealthy behaviors and patterns are confusing and prevents us from getting to the core of our issues, and living our best lives.

It wasn’t until I became SICK and TIRED of being sick and tired that I was willing to take a hard look at myself. I didn’t understand why certain relationships seemed to have power over me. No matter how hard I tried to make changes, I felt stuck. My sense of security, mental health, and relationships all suffered.

‘When the student is ready, the teacher will appear’
-Old proverb, author unknown

Over the years, I have incorporated conventional therapies in addition to alternative healing arts as part of my healing path. Each modality informed the other, and has played a significant role in my health, well-being, and spiritual growth. These practices came to me when I was ready to receive the lessons they provided – you’ve probably heard the old proverb, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear”.

I believe: everyone has healing work to do since we all come from dysfunctional family units. In one way or another, we didn’t get our needs met. We cannot help but pass down unhealthy patterns, behaviors, and false beliefs to our children. Unless we learn where our dysfunction comes from, and are committed to putting the work in to heal these traumas, we will unknowingly model this, no matter how hard we try not to.

I believe: everyone was meant to thrive, and deserve to live their best life.

I believe: we need all hands on deck to heal past wounds in order to stop passing down unhealthy behaviors and patterns to our children! It is to this end that I am whole-heartedly committed to supporting you on your healing journey.

Lover of the cycles of life, of the arts, of conscious capitalism and green design, of damn good food, and sharing wholeheartedly, because there is enough for everyone.
